Welcome to proboards!!!!
Now that you're all signed up and registered, lets show you around a little. Below the picture is a detailed list of each section listed.
TOOL BAR
Home: Takes you back to our home page
Help: Click here for a long list of common help topics that proboards has put together for us.
Search: Lets you do a detailed search of the forums (can't say that I've ever had to use this in the last 10 years...)
Members: Shows an alphabetical list of everyone signed up for our forums.
Admin: Most will not be able to see the admin button, as only staff can view it and use the admin functions. For staff members, it's a very important button!
Profile: You can edit your personal profile here.
Messages: Proboards has a PM (Private Message) system all set up, and you check your forum mail here!
FORUM NAVIGATION
You'll notice as you enter different boards, and then click on individual threads, that it will be listed where you've gone in the navigation bar. If you don't want to go all the way back to the home page, you can click on the navigation bar listings to go back to a section you'd just been in.
Where it lists NWJ on the navigation bar, if you mouse over it, there is a drop down that will show, that's basically a mini of the entire forums, and you can use that to go to a specific section quickly if you wish to.
NEWS FEED
The News feed scrolls through several messages, so take a moment to read them all.
CATEGORY NAME
There are several Category's on the forum. They list what the over type of boards in their section are.
BOARD NAME
And lastly, under each Category heading, there are several boards. These hold the actual individual posts people make, and you simply click on them to enter that board so you can see all the posts there.
