With the changes to Shame we quickly realized that the gear failed to live up to the hype. However, the loot unravels to relic frags. YEAH! I am tired of buying them. So, I have done a few experiments and have some preliminary information:
First level: This is the quickest and easiest method. First level (everything) I averaged 4.7 relic frags per trip. Because these monsters border on the lame this was maybe twice as fast as the third level take. Relic frags per hour approximately 30.
Third level: This can be hairy when too many monsters get on you, especially three air elementals at a time (whew). I averaged 6.1 relic frags per trip. Relic frags per hour approximately 25.
Second / Third level gate: This is crazy easy and very productive. Simply kill the two clay golems at the gate from the second level to third level. Take the gate to the third level and kill the two flame elementals. Rinse / wash/ repeat. These two monsters are very easy and gave the best results. I averaged 10.5 relic frags per trip. Relic frags per hour approximately 50.
