DO NOT Build a character based on the information in this post! This post needs to be updated, so while you may feel free to use it as a reference, pls do not build the weapons and armor the way this post describes!!

(Any suggestions or ideas, feel free to icq or mention in a reply )
Mystic Thrower
The Mystic Thrower is a VERY powerful template. It's Ranged Attack build, you get the use of Rising Colossus, and you have access to the other Mysticism goodies that can benefit both mage and fighter attributes =)
(This build really shines VS the Slasher of Veils, and the Stygian Dragon!!!)
Skill Build Ideas:
120 Mysticism
120 Focus
120 Throwing
100 Tactics (or Meditation)
90 Anatomy
90 Healing
80 Chivalry
(plus 28 Skill points of your choice, if the listed armor suit is used )
ARMOR:
(Different players may wish to use different pieces! ;P)
Arties:
Mace and Shield Reading Glasses
Crison Cincture
Conjurer's Trinket
Shroud of the Condemned
Unforgiven Veil
Unicorn Mane Woven Talons
Imbued Pieces:
(Gargish Leather Armor and Gargish Necklace)
Neck- 8lmc 18lrc res res2 res3 (All 3 full 15 resists!) (500)
Chest- 8lmc 8stam 8mana? 18lrc res (12-14) (500)
Legs- 8lmc 8stam 8mana 4hp 16lrc (498)*
Arms- 8lmc 8stam 8mana 4hp 16lrc (498)*
Kilt- 8lmc 8stam 8mana 4hp 16lrc (498)*
(10 Resist 5 throwing on UnVeil)
(If not all resist slots are needed, more Mana, Stamina or ManaRegen could be added instead =) )
Ring- 24di, 7str, 7dex, 7int, 14 skill, ----- (500)
Brac- ---- 7str, 7dex, 6int, 14 skill, 16lrc (498)
MODIFIED!!
(If you don't want the extra 28 skill points, you can HCI so it is not needed on the weapon!! =) OR you can add Stamina Leech to the weapon, since they have nerfed the chiv spell Divine Fury, twice OR you can add some Defense Chance Increase to the suit. As a ranged attacker DCI is less important, but it can still come in handy)
(Note, The Jewelry was designed for a suit using Conjerer's Trinket. If you are using something different, you may wish to replace a Stat with Hit Chance Increase instead )
WEAPONS-
(Note, these weapons are designed for use with the suggested artifacts, including Mace and Shield Reading Glasses and the Conjerer's Trinket. If you use different peices, different weapons should be designed )
(These weapons need 41di and 18hci)
All 3 throwing weapons have things they are good at.
(DON'T put Hit Fireball, Lightning or any hit-spell on it, you'll be using the mysticism spell Enchant to add Hit Lightning =] )
-(Note, for ALL THROWING WEAPONS, turn the DI down before imbuing anything that requires Relic Fragments, and Imbue Relic Fragments FIRST!!! =D)
-Boomerang has Mystic Arc which lets it hit multiple enemies, ideal for champ spawns and the like. It is also incredibly FAST (2s!), which is great if you know you'll have to fight with low stamina. (Cora!!!)
(Fastest and lowest damage throwing weapon)
Super Slayer: 41di, Super Slayer, 18hci, 42 Hit Area, 100% Mana Leech (498)
Single Slayer: 41di, Single Slayer, 18hci, 50 Hit Area, 100% Mana Leech (495)
-Cyclone is a GREAT overall weapon! It has Infused Throw (paralizes/dismounts) and Moving Shot. Great damage and fast swing speed, this is one awesome weapon!!
(These specials are great for keeping your distance from your foe, foes like Prox and the Stygian Dragon)
(Very simple, very effective, weapon of choice for many Mystic Throwers)
Super Slayer: 41di, Super Slayer, 18hci, 38 hla(optional), 100% Mana Leech (498)
Single Slayer: 41di, Single Slayer, 18hci, 48 hla(optional), 100% Mana Leech (500)
(Alternatives for Hit Lower Attack are: Life Leech, Stamina Leech, and adding additional Hit Lower Defense to the 30 o Mace and Shield Reading Glasses. HLA will make it harder for the monster to hit you even if they do get next to you.)
-Soul Glaive is the biggest damage weapon In All Of UO, AND it has Armor Ignore. It is slow, and could use Swing Speed Increase.
(Armor Ignore is most effective if your target has Slayer Vulnerability)
Super Slayer: 41di, Super Slayer, 18hci, 20ssi, 100% Mana leech (488)
Single Slayer: 41di, Single Slayer, 18hci, 20ssi, 100% Mana Leech (488)
(NO DIFFERENCE!! )
(Again, DON'T put Hit Fireball, Lightning or any hit-spell on it, you'll be using the mysticism spell Enchant to add Hit Lightning =] )
Single Slayer Note: Regular Slayers cost 30 less imbuing weight then Super Slayers. A Dragon Slayer weapon has more room then a Reptile Slayer, does MORE damage to dragons, and other properties may be turned up
Non Slayer Note: For good Non-Slayer throwing weapons, you can replace the Slayer property with Hit Lower Attack, Life Leech or Stamina Leech, or add additional Hit Lower Defense. (Also note, that armor ignore isn't nearly as effective on a non-slayer weapon, so consider making non-slayer Boomerangs and Cyclones instead of Soul Glaives )
Totals Stats:
(note, the suit is built to be run with Divine Fury, + 15di 12hci 10ssi)
100di 45hci 100lrc 40lmc 150str 150dex 150hp 182stam 66mana (30hld) (10ssi)
(Base Stats: 125str 121dex 14int)
How the Template Works:
-Cast Rising Colossus to keep the enemy busy.
-Keep Divine Fury cast to max your Damage, Hit Chance and Swing Speed.
-Keep Enchant up to add Hit Lightning to your weapon.
-Keep Concecrate Weapon up, unless you have the apropriate 100% elemental damage weapon equiped
-The suit works by the weapon Leeching Mana when it hits. Thus, to keep casting Rising Colossus and other spells, you need to be hitting a monster with your throwing weapon.
If you get hit,
-Bandage yourself to recover health, cure poison, and dispel curses
-Hit the Healing Stone for instant health.
-Cast Divine Fury if you need to restore your Stamina
--If needed, you an cast Cleansing Winds to restore a lot of health, cure poison, and dispel curses all at once! =)
--Also have the Chivalry small heal, Close Wounds
-Throwers can drink Potions. Stamina Potions might not be a bad thing to carry, also Confusion Potions and maybe Cure, but Healing Stone should suffice for your Healing Potion needs!
-(if you ever get surounded by small monsters, you can hit Dispel Evil to make them run away from you Especially helpful at fel champ spawns!!)
(Note, some who want a more Mage-like Mystic Thrower, may wish to replace some stats with ManaRegen2. Stam should probably be the first they drop. Remember, you're probably using a Mystic Thrower against some really nasty bosses, like Slasher and Stygian Dragon... you'll need a lot of hp and resist to survive their massive fireball attacks. But adjust the suit to fit your needs =] )
