OK, so it's so cool to walk into Luna bank with that Aegis or elite shield. OK... But there is a skill that doesn't require you to carry that fancy shield. It's called bushido. Now what could be the superiority of losing the shield for some skill? I'll tell ya: there are 6 little spells that make it all worth it (not to mention the ability to ride lesser hiryus). You can use it on your parrot, your puppy, your popsicle stick... It doesn't matter. If you wanna train this skill to 120, here's how:
First you wanna get max dexterity, drop your strength to the very minimum you need to hold your equipment, and raise your intelligence as high as possible after following the first two stat rules regarding dex and str. (I had 25str, 125 dex and the rest int.) Now, you wanna raise your focus as high as you can (multiples of 20 only) and your meditation as high as you can. Next you want all of the mana regen, lmc, mana/int plus equipment (must be medable!!) you can get. This is all important. This will make your journey to 120 bushido much, much more palatable.
The next step is to raise your bushido to 75. This is simple. 30-60: Cast Confidence. 60-75: Cast Counter Attack. This will work quite easily any which way. If you followed what I said in the second paragraph, this will be like stalking a park bench.
OK, so you're at 75. Buy a pet from an npc animal tamer. Bunnies, cats, and dogs are good. Oh, you can't be guilded for this, so tell your GM that you gotta quit for a little bit to train your bushido. The reason for this is if you are unguilded you can attack ANY pet in a Tram city and not kill it. Also, get the highest SSI weapon for your weapon type. Soul Seeker is good for swords with its 60%SSI. Whatever weapons for your skill; so long as they are fast!!! Faster hits means more hits means more oppurtunity for gain.
What you want to do now is to just Lightning Strike your new pet--over and over and over and over again--this will take you to 120. Expect to spend two or three days doing this, depending on the time you devote to this pursuit. Feed your pet sporadically to ensure that it remains loyal.
Trust me, it comes down to mana regen and dexterity to get the quickest gains. Rhythm and patience are a plus too!!
