Rules
1. The Hunt leader is in charge of the Hunt. (The Hunt leader being the one that either started the hunt, or was nominated to lead the hunt) Do not try and take over the hunt, or rudely try to undermind the hunt leader.
2. No one left behind. Pay attention to who is hunting with you and make sure no one is left behind when a retreat has been called. Also pay attention to those asking to join you on the hunt and let them know where everyone is meeting for the hunt or where everyone is already hunting.
3. Loot is to be split at the end of a group hunt. Gold is to always be split equally, other loot will either be rolled on or divided up fairly.
4. Be honest with the loot you collect. Do not try and hide the amount of gold you looted, or the arties you gained.
5.Don't attack anyone before a hunt or event, period, save the horse play (or wolf play?) for after the event or hunt, and be extra mindful of those asking for help, and if you're the one asking for help, don't be afraid to ask more than once.
Consequences:
Failing to follow hunt rules can lead to:
1. Being demoted back to Ronin status, starting over with probation, possibly with a longer probation.
2. Being banned from offical guild and alliance hunts until team work is proven.
3. Kicked from guild. (extream cases)
4. Global Mute in Vent.
Good Hunting suggestions:
1. Buddy system. This is great for those that can cross heal. It's also a good idea to pair up an experianced player with one that is learning, the experianced player helping to keep an eye on the newer. (buddy system is also great for those on dial up....sorry frog)
2. Respect! Always respect your guild and alliancemates. Just because you are an expert at Lady Mel, Doom, or champ spawns, does not mean everyone else is. They may make mistakes. They have to learn just like you did. Being rude, or name calling does not add to the fun of the game, nor does it make people more inclined to hunt with you again, or stay in the alliance.
3. Teach others. Again, no one knows everything about the game, there are also often many ways to reach the same goal. Remember to keep an open mind, respect that other ways work just as well as your way, and help others learn from our experiance.
4. Cross heal! We cannot stress this enough! Healing another takes far less time than healing yourself. You buddy up with another person using band aids, and the two of you stay joined at the hip. You heal them, they heal you. Do not run from your cross healing buddy either. They cannot help you if you do.
