Scam alert!
A character named Medusa was claiming to be Medusa from MMO and trying to sell a non replica glad collar.
I say claiming, because MMO and most other sites like it, do NOT sell items in game for gold. And MMO staff members do NOT use their staff names in game.
While there may be sites out there that will buy items from players, such deals, and transactions are handled via icq, the sites live chat, or email.
Basically, if you see anyone on any shard, claiming to be from any online company, trying to make a deal in game, consider it a scam. If it sounds like a deal you'd really like to take part in, then please please be sure to go to whatever site it is they are claiming to be from and verify the deal and information outside of game through their live chat first!
And on the note of the non replica glad collar, please be aware it is a blessed item that CANNOT be traded from player to player! The only way to safely transfer a non replica glad collar is to have the collar on a pack animal and trade the pack animal.
Part of the beauty of UO is the freedom in the game, but that freedom also allows many to take advantage of other players. Don't let yourself be one of the ones taken advantage of!
